The collection documents the activities of Director of the Los Angeles County Museum, James H. Breasted, Jr. from 1946-1951 and incldues correspondence regarding exhibitions policies and planning, Hancock Park, habitat group reports, wartime emergency plans, and the 1948 UNESCO conference.
